The HS boys basketball team will receive their Academic State Championship Award on Saturday March 4, 2023 at State Fair Arena in OKC at halftime of the 2:00 P.M. game.
The HS Boys basketball team will leave from the school at 8:30 A.M.

All Parents of students in 8th-11th grades, please drop by Ms. Langford's office during parent/teacher conferences for more information about Oklahoma's Promise. When you stop by, your student will receive an OKPromise Pass to use to replace one low daily assignment grade.


Congratulations to the Medford High School Academic Team for receiving the Runner-Up award for the Oklahoma Northwest Academic Conference! Also sophomore Chase Abele for making Academic All-Conference MVP!!



Parent Teacher Conferences are March 6&7. PreK-4 have scheduled times and 5-12 will be come and go from 3:40-6:30.

Joseph Armer presented his Ag Mechanics project yesterday in the Northwest District Ag Mechanics Contest. He placed 3rd in class!

Clinton Chaney - 1st in class with his white Shorthorn steer. 2nd in class with his red Shorthorn steer.
Hunter Freeman - 3rd in class with his Hereford heifer and Showmanship winner.
Kaylee Junghanns - 3rd in class with her Shorthorn heifer and Showmanship winner.
Carter Junghanns - 2nd in class with his Shorthorn Plus heifer.

The Kay Electric Essay Contest awards banquet was held last night. Honored at the banquet were juniors, Skylar Anderson (5th place cash prize), Gracey Keller (3rd place) and Jessica Juhl (4th place). Gracey and Jessica both won trips to a youth leadership camp in Steamboat Springs, CO this summer. Eighth graders Lyric Horn and Kenna Kilian won a trip to Energy Camp in Hinton, Ok. Congratulations Cardinals!!

Needed: Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Updated Immunization Records
Hearing and vision screenings will be completed in August.

A couple of congratulations are in order for this year’s Medford boys basketball team.
The Medford Cardinals boys basketball team is this year’s Class B Academic State Champion. In addition to all of their time working on the court and in the weight room, the boys managed to turn in a 3.95 GPA. They will be recognized this Saturday at half time of the second session at the state tournament.
Additionally, congratulations to Isaiah Lyons on being selected as an All-Conference player for the Cherokee Strip Conference.
Zach Hancock and Eli Gonzales both received honorable mention.

Medford FFA Officers visited with numerous Legislators during their time at the Oklahoma State Capital.

Congratulations to all the Medford 4-H and FFA exhibitors at the 2023 Grant County Livestock Show! Medford was represented well by twenty six students. These students brought home numerous class placings, breed champions,grand champions, and livestock judging individual and team winners!


This coming week is National FFA Week. Please see attached flyer for dress up days.

Boys play at 3:00 tomorrow at Fairview! Whether you are on the spirit bus or riding to the game with your family, dress up and cheer on our boys!


There will be a spirit bus leaving the school tomorrow at 1:00 to attend the boys regional game at Fairview at 3pm. Seats will be limited and available only to students 6th grade through 12. A sign up sheet will be in the office in the morning. Students must have $10 in hand to attend the game.

Pack the stands tomorrow to cheer on our Cardinals to a Regional WIN! The STUCO dress-up theme is "Frat Boys". Boys play at Fairview at 7:30pm tomorrow!
