A small delegation of MHS STUCO members traveled to Del City HS yesterday to attend Alva STUCO's Spring Summit event "OASC Playbook". Students were able to choose to attend 3 breakout sessions focusing on whatever topic they felt their school needed most, like schools spirit, hosting districts, school wide events, teacher appreciation, pep assemblies, philanthropy, and much more. The event was capped off with a pep rally hosted by Bixby HS. It was a super informative day and an excellent example of what makes the OASC so special-fantastic collaboration amongst OASC schools and advisors all looking for ways to help STUCO's improve home schools and their student culture. MHS walked away with some excellent ideas and feel better equipped to take on the task of hosting all of District 2 this September. On the way, toy drive donations were dropped off at the Enid YWCA.

HS Regional Track Meet planned for Saturday has been postponed until Monday, April 29th at Cherokee, due to the weather. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Mary Evans and Kylie Keller of Medford High School have been elected to the FCCLA North 2 District officer team. Mary was elected president, and Kylie will be vice president of public relations. Both will attend District Officer Training (DOT) in mid-June to further develop their leadership skills.

Due to potential inclement weather, the OSSAA has changed the order of events at the Regional Track Meet to timed finals only. Attached is the updated order of events for the Regional Track Meet, at Cherokee, Saturday, April 27.

The MHS girls golf team competed at Regionals today on the beautiful Riverside golf course in Clinton. The team placed 9th amongst a talented group of 2A teams and individuals. Seniors, Skylar and Kailey finished their HS golf careers scoring well, Skylar placing 8th individually. Six teams and six individuals qualify for state. Congratulations on a great year girls! ⛳️❤️🤍

Congratulations to Medford Senior, Austin Skrdla, for receiving 3rd place in the Maintenance and Light Repair category at the AST Skills USA competition in Tulsa! #cardinalpride

Proud of these two students for competing at the Northwest Regional Speech Contest. Laken competed in the FFA creed category and Kaylee competed in the Animal Science category. Kaylee placed 3rd in her category!

Congratulations to Colton Cink for qualifying for the 2A Regional golf tournament today! The boys finalized their season today as a team. Colton, Kingston, Thaddaeus, Trent, & Price collectively improved their scores with each tournament and fought incredibly high winds today. Colton will go on as an individual next week in an attempt to make the state tournament amongst a tough field of 2A golfers. Nice job boys!

Just a reminder today's track meet is the make up JH/HS Conference Meet at Ringwood.

The 7/8 Quiz Bowl team finished their season today placing within the top 10 teams in the State. It didn’t quite end up like we wanted, but we played the number 1 ranked team and the number 4 ranked team. Both teams that beat us today were made up of all 8th graders. Medford's team had 1 8th grader, 2 7th graders, and 2 6th graders. I can't wait to see what they do next year.
