Congratulations to Jenna Hanson and Kaylee Junghanns! Jenna will be receiving her State FFA Degree at the 2023 State FFA Convention. Kaylee was selected to be in the State FFA Chorus this year and also selected to compete in the State FFA Talent contest!!



The unpredicted cold front this morning didn't stop the Medford girls golf team today! With a "feels like" temp of 32° at 9:00am these resilient girls braved the cold and put together the best overall team score from a MHS girls golf team EVER-480! Katherine Blubaugh, Skylar Anderson, Kailey Lohmann, Jessica Hanson, and Kaylee Junghanns had great rounds, and personal bests for 3 girls! Great job Lady Cards!!
A huge shout out to Connie Hart Sturgeon for coming in clutch with extra sweatshirts and blankets as the temperature unexpectedly dropped 20° from the time we left Medford to arriving in Enid. 🥶










Medford boys golf played at Meadowlake in Enid yesterday for their first tournament of the year. Zach Hancock, Talon Darling, Colton Cink, Thaddaeus Malchoff, and Kingston Edwards represented the Cardinals well and finished with a team score of 457.

5/6 Track will leave tomorrow at 8:15. Students will need a lunch and water or money for concessions. Also sunscreen is suggested. There are over 700 entries. It will most likely be after 4 before we return. We will send a message when we leave Covington.

Attention Medford parents attending Covington Track meets this week. Parking for spectators will be located across from the new gym.

Congratulations to Mason Drees and Brenden Winter on making the sell at the Oklahoma Youth Expo!! For those that don't know, what these two individuals accomplished is like winning a state championship in the livestock industry!! This is a goal for thousands of livestock exhibitors across the state and only a select few accomplish it. Congratulations!!







We wrapped OYE up with market animals! All the exhibitors did an amazing job. Clinton Chaney showed his Shorthorn steer.
Maddie Drees showed her Duroc barrow. Mason Drees also show a Duroc barrow. Brenden Winter showed a Duroc barrow and was 5th overall Duroc.

Oklahoma Youth Expo Gilt Show!! Four students showed hard and left it all in the ring!! Brenden Winter, Mason Drees, Maddie Drees, and Brace Mennem. Mason Drees made the Night of Stars Gilt Sale with his Light Cross gilt!









The Jr. Class has 9 more garden flags for sale! $15 each with stand They make the perfect addition to a flowerbed.


ATTENTION 5TH GRADE PARENTS:
Beginning today, Thursday, March 9, 5th grade students will no longer take their chrome books home. They will check in chrome books at the end of 7th hour and pick up at the beginning of 1st hour the following day. Chrome books will not go home with 5th grade students over Spring Break!

Medford 4-H & FFA students are set up and ready for "THE GREATEST SHOW" Oklahoma Youth Expo!! Thank you to Dylan Matthews, Teague Schuermann, and Kyler Beech for helping set up the stalls!



Days four, five and six of the Northwest District Junior Livestock Show were a success with numerous class placings and showmanship awards!
Exhibitors were: Clinton Chaney (doe goats), Laken Lamle (gilts), Brace Mennem (gilts), Haden Kretchmar (gilts), Tripp Thomas (barrows), Mason Drees (gilts & barrows), Maddie Drees (gilts & barrows), and Brenden Winter (gilts & barrows).
We wrapped up the NWDJLS with Brenden Winter in the premium auction with his Reserve Champion Duroc Barrow.
