MJH and MHS Boys Summer Calendar! Hard copies will be sent home with HS football players today, and are also available to pick up in the school office! ALL boy athletes are encouraged to attend Summer Pride workouts! These are NOT only for football athletes!
UPDATE: The first page of the calendar is incorrect. Memorial Day is, obviously, Monday, May 26. Football team camp is Tuesday, May 27, and Wednesday, May 28.





Summer School begins Tuesday, May 27, for grades Pre-K through 8th Grade! If you received a Summer School letter in the mail, we strongly encourage you to have your child at Summer School. Teachers will remediate and re-teach standards necessary for success in the next grade-level. If you have a 6th-8th Grade student needing to attend Summer School, and you have not returned your Summer School letter. please call or email Mr. Kysar at 395-2392 or pkysar@medford.k12.ok.us.
Additionally, the Summer Lunch Program will begin Tuesday, May 27, at 11:45 am.

*Pond Creek-Hunter Schools has offered to accept Medford students for Driver's Education this summer. Coach Tanner Bowman will be teaching the course.
*Class will run Monday, May 19, through Thursday, May 22, from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.
*Parents/students will be responsible for transportation to and from Pond Creek-Hunter Schools.

The MHS Lady Cardinals are bringing home the OSSAA Class A State Runner-Up trophy!! What an incredibly enjoyable track season ladies! Congratulations!! ❤️🤍❤️🤍


The MHS Lady Cardinal 4x400 meter relay team of Kaydence Kilian, Jayda Kilian, Kenna Kilian, and Brinklee Blanton are 🥇STATE CHAMPIONS🥇!!!! The girls blew away the field running a PR time of 4:08:49!! Congratulations ladies!!! ❤️🤍❤️


Bly Frieouf is bringing home another Runner-Up silver medal in the 1600m run! 🥈❤️ Bly ran a 4:38:66, 1.4 seconds out of 1st place! Congratulations Bly, great race!!!



Running a 25.59 in the 200 meter sprint, Jayda Kilian came in 4th place in a photo finish for 3rd! Congratulations Jayda!!!! ❤️🤍



In her first year running hurdles Kenna Kilian brings home the 4th place medal running a PR of 48.23!! Great job Kenna!! ❤️🤍



In the 400m run, Ethan Gonzales brings home the 4th place medal running a PR time of 51.6 seconds!!! Congratulations Ethan!!! ❤️



Jayda Kilian is the 2025 Class 1A 400m STATE CHAMPION!! 🥇❤️ 🎉🎉Congratulations Jayda, watching you run is THRILLING!!!!!!!! Jayda set a new school record with her 58.38 second run.



MHS Lady Cards started day 2 of the Class 1A state track meet STRONG! In the 800 meter run, Brinklee Blanton came in 4th place and Ady Hammons scored team points in 8th place! Both girls ran PR times in front of a HUGE Medford crowd!! Congratulations ladies!!




Medford FFA students finished off State FFA Convention by attending leadership workshops throughout the day and receiving their Hunger Challenge award. The Medford FFA would like to thank the Craig and Sierra Regier family for their generous swine donation to the Oklahoma Pork for Packs program on Medford FFA's behalf! One swine donation produces thousands of pork sticks that are used to help combat the ongoing battle of food insecurity in Oklahoma. We ended convention with Kaylee & Carlie receiving their State FFA Degrees!







In the last race of the day, the Medford Cardinals earned team points finishing in 8th place and barely off the podium. Raegan Gottsch, Cash Kelley, Gunnar Ebert, & Ethan Gonzales ran a 1:34:64 PR-ing AND setting the school record!! Congratulations boys!!



In the final girls event of the day, the MHS Lady Cardinal 4x200 relay brings home 4th place!! Jayda Kilian, Brinklee Blanton, Kenna Kilian, & Kaydence Kilian ran a great race!! Congratulations ladies!!
