Summer Pride will begin at 7:00 am for all age groups through this Friday, June 2. The times showing on your calendar will begin Monday, June 5. These times are HS weights at 7:00; ALL conditioning at 8:00; 5th/6th and JH weights at 9:00.
ATTENTION: Boys Athletes Grades 5-12! There will be no Summer Pride Monday, May 29, due to the Memorial Day Holiday. Workouts will resume Tuesday, May 30, at 7:00 am!
Reminder to students enrolled in Driver's Ed: Classes begin Tuesday, May 30, at 8:00 am - 2:00 pm.
Reminder: Summer School begins Monday, May 22, at 8:30-11:45. Lunch will be served from 11:45-12:15.
Numerous members of the Medford FFA chapter completed their eight hours of service from the annual labor auction by pulling rye for Generation Seed Company this past week!
The proceeds from the labor auction are used for entry fees to the many career development events and contests we attend throughout the year, as well as purchasing supplies for ag mechanics projects.
Thank you to the various individuals and businesses that support our FFA program and labor auction every year!

Tomorrow, these amazing athletes (plus one more not pictured) will be heading to STATE in Stillwater! We have 2 that will be bowling and 4 that will be playing Bocce! We leave from the school at 8 am tomorrow, Wednesday, morning. Bring your cowbells, Pom poms, posters, etc to show these amazing athletes your love and support!! We will be taking two suburbans if anyone would like to decorate the suburbans please let me know!

Summer School will not interfere with Summer Pride workouts. A plan has been worked out with all coaches.

Mrs. Locke's Graphic Design class's year-long collaboration with the Mrs. Loesch's Pre-K students came to a close today. The high school students presented their Pre-K "book buddy" their "Pre-K Letter Books" over a scoop of delicious Sugar Shack ice cream. This project could not have exceeded our expectations more. Some lifelong friendships were made.
8th graders finished with state testing and graduated 8th grade on Thursday. This calls for snow cones from the Sugar Shack!
Medford FFA wrapped up the year with the 97th State FFA Convention. We enjoyed watching Kaylee Junghanns sing in the chorus and talent contest during the two days of convention. We wrapped up Convention with Jenna Hanson getting her State FFA Degree.
Skylar Anderson begins the second day of the Class 2A State Golf Tournament at Falconhead in Ardmore today. She shot a 113 on day 1 contending with a combined 3 hours of rain delays. Afterwords she got some throws in preparing for the upcoming state track meet Friday. She started today off with a birdie on her first hole! Good luck today Skylar and congratulations on being at the STATE TOURNAMENT!
Mary Evans was just named FCCLA North District 2 Vice-President of Membership!
CONGRATULATIONS to the 2023 Medford Boys Track Team for being named the 2023 State Academic Champions! This accomplishment was achieved with a perfect 4.0 GPA as a team! The trophy presentation will be Saturday, May 6, at 1:40! Great job, boys!
Parents: One of the buses on the AR trip had a flat on I-35. We are sending another bus to pick up the remainder of students we could not fit on the other bus. Teachers will reach out to you with who will be on the backup bus.
Order of Events for State Track Meet at Western Heights.
The Lip Sync Battle, scheduled for Monday, May 8, has been postponed until Fall 2023. Also, the Art Show will be Wednesday, May 10, immediately following the HS Awards Assembly.

Medford will be taking TEN athletes to compete at the state track meet this Friday and Saturday! Join in the celebration and congratulations of our athletes with a state track T-shirt. Orders are due TODAY @ 1:00 😬 and shirts are $18. Make checks payable to Medford Athletics by Wednesday. Shirts should be in Thursday. Email kbishop@medford.k12.ok.us with your sizes ASAP.
