Tomorrow, February 27, the Medford Lady Cardinals Basketball Team will travel to Enid to take on Frontier in the Area Tournament. We are asking that students not attending the game dress in red and white, and we will have a send off when the girls leave at 11:00 am! Students attending the game are asked to dress for the "Camo" theme to cheer on the Lady Cardinals! #gocards

Tickets for the Area Girls Basketball game can be bought online @ https://gofan.co/app/school/OSSAA or at the gate for $10.
You may want to arrive early in case the Stride Center has a metal detector and requires a clear bag policy.

Medford Area Girls Basketball will tip off vs. Frontier at the Stride Center (Enid) at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27th. The Game will be livestreamed on YouTube @ mhscards. Go, Lady Cards!!

This year, we are offering a bright colored shirt to help stand out in the crowd on field trips and at the Grant County Relays track meet! The shirts come in youth and adult sizes and are $10 (extra charge for 2x and above). This order is open to the public, not just elementary students!
Order forms have been sent home with all PK-5th grade students and are also available in the office. If you prefer to pay with a card, there is an online store: https://medfordelementaryfieldday.itemorder.com/shop/home/
Orders are due and the store will close on March 14.

We will be taking a Pep Bus to the Area Tournament on Thursday afternoon to support the Lady Cardinals! The bus will leave at 11:45am for the 1pm game. There is a sign up sheet located in the office. Students will need $10 for gate and money for concessions.

Thank you again Kretchmar Distributing for supporting the Medford Cardinals!

Regional Basketball Tournament Reminder: Following OSSA regulations, the gym will be cleared between basketball sessions. To re-enter the second session the spectator will have to pay gate prices.

Thank you to everyone that sent our Pre-K class a Valentine. As of today we have received 310 Valentines from all 50 States and 18 countries!

Medford will resume classes tomorrow. It will be extremely cold in the morning and we don’t want anyone having to walk to school. Please contact the office starting at 7:30 am if your child needs a ride in the morning.

Regional Basketball games are pushed back one day. Times and places will stay the same but games will be Friday, Saturday, and Monday instead of Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Sorry for the inconvenience!!

We’re proud of Alexandria Cochran and Rylee Elson for making the OSSBDA Band this year. Lexi made the band in 2024 as well and Rylee received the special distinction of making the band three years in a row. Bravo girls!

Good luck Kaylee Junghanns! Kaylee will be going through the nominating committee process today as she competes against 15 other FFA members from around the state for one of three finalist spots in the State FFA Officer campaign run.

The 4-H and FFA livestock kids wrapped up local and county this past week. The show kids did an amazing job. We had numerous class placings, champions, showmanship awards and livestock judging winners!
