Medford Public Schools

Tonight the junior class spent the evening selling the traditional live wreaths around town, going door to door. If we missed you we are sorry but it isn't too late to order! Orders and payment are due to the office by Thursday morning. Attached are wreaths and pricing attached. Thank you to all that ordered! This fundraiser is a Medford Junior Class tradition loved by many. Wreaths will be here the week of December 1-4 and will be delivered to your homes by the students who sold them to you.

The assembly on Friday, October 31, is the Halloween Parade only! It will begin at 1:00. Rise and Shine will be Friday, November 7, at 9:00.

Don't forget: parents and students in grades K-5 are invited to attend the Join Scouts Night this evening at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria!

This week is National Red Ribbon Week! Attached is the dress-up day flier that went home with students last week.

State Cross Country was this morning and the Cardinals ran INCREDIBLY!!! Bly Frieouf is the STATE CHAMPION🥇running a 16:56!!! Mason Drees ran in his first state meet and ran a 20:43. Brennan Locke broke into the top 20 placing 18th overall running a 13:25 and Kenna Kilian placed 33rd running 13:49! The hard work and dedication of these athletes paid off today in amazing results!

The State Cross-Country, scheduled for Saturday, October 25th, has changed its race times due to the weather. Class A girls will run at 10:30 a.m. and Class A boys at 11:00 a.m.

Our runners leave tomorrow morning to attend the State Class A Cross Country meet at North Rock Creek in Shawnee! Good luck tomorrow guys!! Bring home some hardware!

5th and 6th grade boys will have basketball practice immediately after school tomorrow, Tuesday.

Class A Regional Cross Country was held at OBA this morning where Bly Frieouf became the back to back regional champion! Brennan Locke placed 9th and Kenna Kilian placed 15th-all advancing to the State Meet next Saturday at Shawnee. Mason Drees also qualified for State with official results posted tonight! Congratulations to all of our runners, the Cardinals showed up today!!!

Medford FFA members attended the Regional Greenhand Contest on Tuesday! We had two 8th grade Creed Teams and five freshmen compete in the Greenhand Quiz. Congratulations to Carter Junghanns, who made the Top 10 and advanced to the final round, placing 8th overall! #MedfordFFA #FFA #BlueAndGold
