Last Thursday Medford High School took 30 students to compete in the Southwestern Oklahoma Interscholastic Meet (SWIM) at SWOSU in Weatherford. Here students take an hour long test in their respective academic category which are then scored and ranked within their school classification. Our students scored INCREDIBLY well amongst their peers, receiving the Class III Sweepstakes in the Computer Science Division, and 16 students placing in the top 5, allowing for them to compete at the State SWIM competition later this year. MHS took 30 students and competed in 38 tests. Every SINGLE student placed within the top 20 of their test, with the exception of one individual test. CONGRATULATIONS to every student who attended, representing MHS academics at an ELITE level!!
