ATTENTION 5TH GRADE PARENTS:
Beginning today, Thursday, March 9, 5th grade students will no longer take their chrome books home. They will check in chrome books at the end of 7th hour and pick up at the beginning of 1st hour the following day. Chrome books will not go home with 5th grade students over Spring Break!

Medford 4-H & FFA students are set up and ready for "THE GREATEST SHOW" Oklahoma Youth Expo!! Thank you to Dylan Matthews, Teague Schuermann, and Kyler Beech for helping set up the stalls!


Days four, five and six of the Northwest District Junior Livestock Show were a success with numerous class placings and showmanship awards!
Exhibitors were: Clinton Chaney (doe goats), Laken Lamle (gilts), Brace Mennem (gilts), Haden Kretchmar (gilts), Tripp Thomas (barrows), Mason Drees (gilts & barrows), Maddie Drees (gilts & barrows), and Brenden Winter (gilts & barrows).
We wrapped up the NWDJLS with Brenden Winter in the premium auction with his Reserve Champion Duroc Barrow.
Congratulations to all the Medford 4-H and FFA exhibitors on a job well done at the district livestock show!

The HS boys basketball team will receive their Academic State Championship Award on Saturday March 4, 2023 at State Fair Arena in OKC at halftime of the 2:00 P.M. game.
The HS Boys basketball team will leave from the school at 8:30 A.M.
All Parents of students in 8th-11th grades, please drop by Ms. Langford's office during parent/teacher conferences for more information about Oklahoma's Promise. When you stop by, your student will receive an OKPromise Pass to use to replace one low daily assignment grade.

The Kay Electric Essay Contest awards banquet was held last night. Honored at the banquet were juniors, Skylar Anderson (5th place cash prize), Gracey Keller (3rd place) and Jessica Juhl (4th place). Gracey and Jessica both won trips to a youth leadership camp in Steamboat Springs, CO this summer. Eighth graders Lyric Horn and Kenna Kilian won a trip to Energy Camp in Hinton, Ok. Congratulations Cardinals!!

A couple of congratulations are in order for this year’s Medford boys basketball team.
The Medford Cardinals boys basketball team is this year’s Class B Academic State Champion. In addition to all of their time working on the court and in the weight room, the boys managed to turn in a 3.95 GPA. They will be recognized this Saturday at half time of the second session at the state tournament.
Additionally, congratulations to Isaiah Lyons on being selected as an All-Conference player for the Cherokee Strip Conference.
Zach Hancock and Eli Gonzales both received honorable mention.
