Medford FFA President Kaylee Junghanns has started her senior year off with a big accomplishment! Kaylee was selected out of thousands of applicants to compete in the National FFA talent contest. She will be representing Medford FFA at the 2024 National FFA convention in October.
5th and 6th grade cheer practice tomorrow, Monday, at 5:00 pm, in the Old Gym.
The first OBI Blood Drive of the year is THIS TUESDAY!! The drive will take place in the new hospitality room in the NEW GYM not the Auditorium like it says on the flier! Be sure to sign up online or with Mrs. Locke, must be 16 or older to donate.

HS Cherokee Softball Tournament Aug. 22&23
ATTENTION HS FOOTBALL PLAYERS AND PARENTS:
HS football practice begins tonight, Monday, August 12, at 6:00 pm, at the practice field. Helmets only. No pads.
Cherokee Strip Softball Tournament Aug. 16th-17th
JH/High School Cross Country practice will start on Monday, August 12th. Practice will be Monday- Thursday with two practice time options, 6:15 a.m. or 4 p.m. Meet in front of the cafeteria doors on the east side of the school.

Attention MPS Parents and Students: Per the Student Handbook, cellphones will be prohibited during school hours during the 2024-2025 school year, for students Pre-K through 12th. This includes lunchtime and between classes. This is in the student handbook to help students avoid distractions in the learning process. All Medford Students will be required to store phones in their lockers, backpacks, or check them in to the classroom teacher. In case of emergency, students may be reached through the main office. Medford Cardinals Football Skills Camp!
Thursday, August 1, and Friday, August 2, 23 first-fourth graders braved the heat to participate in Medford Cardinals Skills Camp. Campers learned skills for all positions and participated in a Punt, Pass, and Kick competition. Fun was had by all! Huge thank you to Trevor Kretchmar for all of his help!

ATTENTION 5th & 6th Cheer Parents:
If you have a student that would like to participate in 5th and 6th grade cheerleading, please sign up in the school office by August 16. A sports physical must be turned in before they can participate (forms are in the school office). A $2 fee must be paid when signing up to cover the cost of bows. Practices will begin the first full week of school (August 19-23). Specific practice dates will be shared ASAP.
