The 2nd Quarter AR Trip was today. There were 187 students in Kindergarten-8th grade who met their goal to attend. We celebrated with Pizza Hut and bowling at Lucas Lanes in Blackwell.

Pizza day at Sugar Shak yesterday for our elementary star students for November!
Medford 8th grade students visited Pioneer Technology Center Thursday, December 7, to tour and learn about all of the programs and career paths offered. The students had a great time and learned a lot!

5th and 6th grade Quiz Bowl Districts is tomorrow, December 6, at Medford, at 1:00. Team members need to wear a red, Medford shirt and jeans without holes.
The Medford High School Quiz Bowl team finished off their ONWAC Conference games tonight, going undefeated in Conference play!
This past weekend, Medford FFA Member, Kaylee Junghanns got the opportunity to go the new state-wide leadership conference, Lead 360. Kaylee was part of the first 800 members at this leadership conference! Kaylee got to listen to 5 amazing speakers and even some of the State FFA Officer Team! She also sang in the talent program at the event!

Rylee Elson successful auditioned for the 2024 OKMEA (big school) All State Honor Band! She is sitting 2nd chair contrabass clarinet in the Symphonic Band. Congratulations, Rylee!
Medford FFA members visited Lanman Funeral Home this past week and decorated Christmas trees! The Christmas trees are decorated with bulbs that represents a loved one who has passed. It is an honor to decorate these trees every year!

STUCO member aided in the annual Christmas Tree Decorating this morning in the cafeteria. Students Pre-K-8th decorated the tree with their hand-made ornaments and made the place a little more festive. Merry Christmas!
PTO has a staff "treat" Christmas tree set up in the main entry vestibule for parents who would like to spread some holiday cheer. Simply take one of the red ornaments (pieces of paper) off of the tree. Fulfill the $0-$5 wish listed inside and bring it back to the office with the staff sticky note provided. Just a simple way to say "Merry Christmas" to our staff during this busy time of year.

Congratulations Clinton Chaney! Clinton was Grand Champion 4-H winner at the State 4-H and FFA wheat show tonight and won $3500 in scholarships.
5-8 Basketball this evening will be played at Jet. 5/6 girls start at 4:30 with the rest of the games to follow.
