Attention MPS Parents and Students: Per the Student Handbook, cellphones will be prohibited during school hours during the 2024-2025 school year, for students Pre-K through 12th. This includes lunchtime and between classes. This is in the student handbook to help students avoid distractions in the learning process. All Medford Students will be required to store phones in their lockers, backpacks, or check them in to the classroom teacher. In case of emergency, students may be reached through the main office. Thank you for your support as we continue to work to improve student safety and the learning environment for our students!

Medford Cardinals Football Skills Camp! Thursday, August 1, and Friday, August 2, 23 first-fourth graders braved the heat to participate in Medford Cardinals Skills Camp. Campers learned skills for all positions and participated in a Punt, Pass, and Kick competition. Fun was had by all! Huge thank you to Trevor Kretchmar for all of his help! #cardinalpride

ATTENTION 5th & 6th Cheer Parents: If you have a student that would like to participate in 5th and 6th grade cheerleading, please sign up in the school office by August 16. A sports physical must be turned in before they can participate (forms are in the school office). A $2 fee must be paid when signing up to cover the cost of bows. Practices will begin the first full week of school (August 19-23). Specific practice dates will be shared ASAP.

Enrollment is tomorrow, July 30. Families with a junior or senior, 9:00-12:00. Families with a freshman or sophomore, 1:00-3:00. Families without high school students, 9:00-3:00. New students please bring birth certificate, social security card, immunization records, and proof of residence.

JH/Highschool cross country practice will start on August 12th. Practice will be Monday- Thursday with two practice time options, 6:15 a.m. or 4 p.m.

Medford FFA President, Kaylee Junghanns has had a busy summer attending camps and getting ready for her leadership role this school year! Kaylee has attend Washington Leadership Camp and Alumni Camp over past two months along with numerous others 4-H camps. Kaylee was also selected to be apart of the flag raising ceremony where she did her thing singing the National Anthem at Alumni Camp.

REMINDER: 1st-4th grade students! Medford Cardinals Football Skills Camp is scheduled for August 1-2, from 6:00-8:00 pm! Flyers may be picked up in the school office or printed from the attachment. Attendees will receive a camp t-shirt and experience football learning and fun! Cost is $30. Forms are due by July 22 if you want your t-shirt at camp. Forms will be accepted up to the beginning of camp on August 1, but forms received after July 22 will receive t-shirts after camp.

ATTENTION 3rd & 4th Grade Football Parents: 2024 3rd & 4th grade football parent meeting Thursday, July 18, at 6:30, in the school cafeteria. Coach Trevor Kretchmar will discuss practice times, equipment check out, parent requirements, etc. If your child plans to play 3rd and 4th grade football this year, please plan to attend.

ATTENTION 5-12 BOY ATHLETES: Monday, July 8, will be a "bonus" day for boys athletes. Attendance WILL count towards your total days, but missing WILL NOT count against you. Everyone is encouraged to attend!

First day of camp was a success! Sutton & Scarlett were Campers of the Day!

All Athletic Facilities for Medford School will be closed, for Dead Week, June 29th-July7th.

Athletes needing physicals: The physicals planned for June 26th have been changed to July 11th at 10:30 am - 2:30 pm. More information will be given closer to July 11th. Sorry for any inconvenience.
