The Junior High Quiz Bowl Team traveled to Cherokee to compete in Districts this morning. They competed well and brought home Runner-up.
The rescheduled HS Basketball Game AT Timberlake will be Saturday, Feb 1st, at 6:30 pm.
Reminder: Mini Cheer practice is 3:30-5 tomorrow in the cafeteria for those who signed up.
Congratulations to the High School Academic team for placing 2nd in the Cherokee Strip Tournament today. Another congratulations goes to Price Locke who made the All Conference team.
A huge congratulations to Kaylee Junghanns and Mary Evans for being selected to the Oklahoma State University President's Leadership Council!! This scholarship is awarded for outstanding leadership in high school organizations like National Honors Society, FFA, FCCLA, 4H, & Student Council. Both of these girls have been extremely active members of the Medford chapters of all of these organizations, holding officer positions in many of them! Thank you for your service to these extracurricular organizations throughout your time at MHS ladies, this honor is well deserved.
Our Cardinals and Lady Cardinals had impressive showings at the Cherokee Strip Conference tournament this weekend. The boys played 3 great games, and wound up beating Cherokee to secure the consolation championship!!! 🏆 The girls won handily the first two games and played an incredibly competitive championship game against class B, #1 ranked Lomega, placing runner-up! 🏀🥈Congratulations MHS Basketball! Let's finish the season strong!!!!

The Pre-K class would like to thank everyone who is sending Valentines for our Hearts Across the Country project! So far we have recieved 32 Valentines from 19 different states.
Tonight's HS Basketball games against Timberlake will be rescheduled for February 1, 2025 TBD.
Medford Public Schools will be starting late tomorrow at 10am. There will be a quick breakfast option starting at 9:30am and buses will be running approximately 2 hours late. With the low temperatures we don't want any students walking. Please contact the school starting at 9:15 if any in town students need transportation.
Congratulations to the MHS Quiz Bowl team as they went 3-0 at the Area Meet today! As Area Champions they will compete at State in a couple of weeks!
STUCO Cardinals Against Cancer game is February 4th vs. PC-H. This year we are honoring Brad Mennem, 1993 graduate of MHS and current spouse, parent and active community member of Medford. Brad is battling colon cancer and we want to bless his family. T-shirts and crew neck sweatshirts are available online and by paper order now! Orders are due to the school by Friday, January 24th.
