Yesterday MHS took 18 students to Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK to compete in the Southwestern Interscholastic Meet. Over 600 student from across the state were chosen to take subject specific tests ranging from computer sciences to English literature. Top 3 results were posted this afternoon and the following MHS students will be awarded with a medal: Samus Delaney - 2nd place - Computer Sciences - Spreadsheets Hannah Smith - 3rd place - Language & Literature - English Usage Allison Nollenberger - 3rd place - Language & Literature - Spanish 1 Price Locke - 3rd place - Social Sciences - World History Samuel Shepherd - 2nd place - Biological Sciences - Biology 2 Chase Abele 3rd place - Math - Algebra 2 1st place - Math - Plain Trigonometry 1st place - Physical Sciences - Chemistry 1st place - Social Sciences - Geography Full scoring of all students that competed will be released next week. And all students will be able to see their results. Congratulations!

REMINDER 5th and 6th GRADE PARENTS: Track meet at Covington tomorrow, March 27. The bus will leave the front of the school at 8:15. Field events begin at 9:45. Running events begin at 10:15. Low temps are forecasted. Please remember to send plenty of warm clothing/blankets, a sack lunch and snacks and plenty to drink, money for concessions, and sunscreen. Admission is free. We will send a text when we are leaving Covington to return home.
