Medford high school quiz bowl went 3–0 today to win the district tournament at Kremlin today! Winning districts will secure the Medford team a higher seed in the regional tournament. Congratulations team! 💡❤️📚🥇

Mrs. Nollenberger's first graders are collecting facts about spiders in an informational book. We will share what we learned with other students in the coming weeks. Thanks, Mrs. Evans for our big momma spider!

Mr. Buller & the Medford FFA Chapter have had another busy week! Monday, three FFA members attended the Pawhuska LDE contest. Carter Junghanns competed in the FFA creed contest. Joshua Forsyth and Jerica Britain competed in the greenhand competition. Tuesday, twelve FFA members attended the Regional greenhand competition. Competing in the greenhand contest were: Brenden Winter, Mason Drees, Jerica Britain, Joshua Forsyth, Jax Johnson and Cash Kelley. 9th grade creed - Tripp Thomas and Mason Drees. 8th grade team creed - Carter Junghanns, Hunter Freeman, Cory Helt, Trevor Lohmann and William Krejsek.

The 2024 Cherokee Strip Softball All-Conference team has been announced and this year the Medford Lady Cardinals had 3 players receive awards! Brinklee Blanton- Honorable Mention Kassidy Kilian- Utility Kaydence Kilian- Utility The Cherokee Strip Softball All-Conference Game will be held on Monday Oct. 7th at OBA. The Awards will start at 6:00 and the Game will start at 6:30.

More Homecoming class competition placings! The cheerleaders did an amazing job decorating the hallways for Homecoming week, helped out by some AMAZING class posters! These are the results for the poster competition!! All first place winners will receive a STUCO sponsored popcorn party next week!

After a resounding Homecoming win last night, Medford students and staff marched in the parade this morning. Float placings were announced and the winners are: 1st place - 7th grade 2nd place - 9th grade 3rd place - 8th grade Good work by all classes!

Medford 4-H and FFA students finished up Tulsa State Fair this week with the chicken show. Mason Drees - Dark Commercial gilt 6th place in class - Duroc gilt 3rd place in class Kaylee Junghanns - Shorthorn plus heifer 1st in class and Reserve Champion division Kason Junghanns - Shorthorn plus heifer 2nd in class Carter Junghanns - Shorthorn plus bull Reserve Champion division

Medford FCCLA chapter attended North 2 district meeting at Enid High on Wed. Oct 2nd. Two Medford students, Mary Evans and Kylie Keller were installed as district officers for the 2024-25 school year. STAR event winners were recognized and members heard an inspiring message about setting leadership goals and keeping your eyes on the target!
