Medford Public Schools

Seven Elementary cross country runners competed at Junior High All Stars Meet in Chickasha. Through the rain & mud they ran hard and the boys team came away with 5th place in Class 1A.

Several Medford 7th-12th grade students attended the Enid High School FCA Fields of Faith on Wednesday, October 14. It was a great night of student testimonies, praise songs, and guest speaker Willie Spears! (Not all students stayed for the picture.)

Thank you to the Medford Fire Department for coming to the school to help educate our students during Fire Prevention Week last week!

Transportation will be provided for any 7th-12th grade students wishing to attend this event. Students need to sign up in the office, so we have an official count. Free hot dogs will be available at the event, but students can take money, and the bus will stop for fast food on the way there. Bus leaves the Old Gym Parking Lot at 4:50 Sharp!

Mr. Buller and the Medford 4-H and FFA livestock exhibitors had a great Tulsa State Fair! Kendyl Chaney wrapped up the fair by earning a spot in the prestigious Night of Champions Sale with her 3rd place Chianina steer! Kason Junghanns did an outstanding job exhibiting his Dorset and White Face Cross lambs! Clinton Chaney had a great fair, placing 3rd with his wheat grain exhibit and 3rd with his Maine steer! We are proud of these exhibitors and all the hard work and dedication they put into their projects. Way to represent Medford!

Over 180 students and adults participated in Walk to School Day this morning! Thank you PTO for organizing, FCCLA members for the fun activities along the way, and Robert and Dea Mandevill for the snacks as the students got close to the school.

Medford FCCLA chapter attended North 2 District Leadership Conference in Enid! We celebrated chapter members from around NW OK, built relationships with other FCCLA members and joined in some crazy games! We then heard from a special guest, Coach Wayne Anderson on how to NEVER let Failure Win!
