Medford FFA members enjoyed a warm evening swimming and getting fitted for there FFA jackets at the annual FFA Back to School Bash!

The 5/6 and JH Football games set for Monday, Aug. 31st @ Ringwood have been moved to Tuesday, Sept. 1st, 5:30 pm. Sorry for the inconvenience! Go Cards!!

ATTENTION HS FOOTBALL PLAYERS & PARENTS: HS football practice on Friday, August 28, is scheduled for 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm. This will be an open practice. Parents and fans are welcome to attend! There will be a watermelon feed after the open practice! #cardinalpride

Fall sports pictures are beginning!! JH & HS softball have already taken pictures and 5/6 & JH Football will take pictures TOMORROW during the day. The forms to order images is attached and sent home with students today. Extra copies are in the office.

There will be a parent meeting for 5th and 6th grade cheerleading tonight at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.

ATTENTION HS FOOTBALL PLAYERS AND PARENTS: Due to the continued extreme heat, HS football practice on Wednesday, August 19, will start at 7:00 pm. Practice on Thursday, August 20, will be at the regular time, with Meet the Cardinals starting at 6:30 pm.

There is a sign up sheet in the main office for those interested in being a 5th and 6th grade cheerleader. Sign ups close at the end of the school day on Tuesday, August 18. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Taylor at the school. A parent meeting will be held by the end of next week.

Covington/Pioneer Softball Festival Friday, Aug. 21st

Softball Games for Monday, Aug. 17th at Kremlin have been canceled.

Hunter Ed class available in Ponca City for anyone 4th-12th grade interested in archery. If you already have Hunter Ed, you do not need it again.

Elementary Cross Country (1st-6th grade) starts practice Monday, August 17, after school. Athletes will need to meet in the cafeteria after school and walk over together to the Ag Building. Please ensure they have a water bottle, running shoes, and shorts. You can pick up your athlete after practice, at 4:10, at the Ag Building. We're excited for an awesome season!

A few reminders as we start a new school year!

ATTENTION 5th-8th Grade Parents: Tonight, August 12, during Elementary Meet the Teacher, 5th-8th grade students are able to come to the building to check lockers and class schedules. Class schedules will be taped to student lockers. Please do not roam the Elementary Hallway!
