hi
Medford Student Council held their annual Cardinals Against Cancer week January 31-February 4, bringing awareness to multiples types of cancers and honoring those family members and friends affected. It has been a tradition to honor a member of our community or school who may be battling cancer or a recent survivor. This year, STUCO made the decision to honor Bambi Adams (graduate of MHS and mother of graduating senior and STUCO member Addison Spaulding) who has been battling stage 4 metastatic melanoma. STUCO officers selected a design for t-shirts to sell and collected orders with the intention of all proceeds being donated to Bambi. Over 135 shirts were ordered allowing STUCO to present over $1000 to Bambi hoping to aid in the financial burden undoubtedly assumed during her treatment. Originally the presentation was to be made on February 4th during the MHS basketball game versus Covington, but the snow had other plans. Instead, on behalf of STUCO, President Brayde Mennem presented Bambi her check this past Thursday with MHS students and faculty present to honor her during her battle.
STUCO would like to thank all those who purchased shirts allowing us to donate to Bambi. STUCO ♥️ The Medford Community!!
